But she actually does have an active social life, too. Her BFF Magnum lives just down the road. He's a sweetheart! But he's also very naughty. His Mom & Dad have an invisible fence to keep him safe while they're at work, and a doggy door in the garage so that he can come and go as he pleases. But when he sets his mind to it, that's not enough to keep him away from his girlfriend. I think his parents are at their wits end with him, because they've tried everything they can think of to keep him home and he still breaks out occasionally. (She must be worth the shock...)
Usually Lola the cat is the first to announce his arrival. (She sees him as an intruder-- poor baby! He's scared to death of her, with good reason.) Once she starts making those awful, scary cat noises Phoebe knows he's here!
Can Phoebe come out to play??? (Isn't he just beautiful???) |
Pretty please, with sugar on top??? |
Anyway, so then I let Phoebe out into the (fenced) back yard and they play together for hours! (Or until his Dad drives by and sees his naughty boy.) But they LOVE each other. It is just so sweet!!! He only sneaks out maybe once a week or so, but I can tell you that bright and early tomorrow morning, Phoebe will be sitting by the window in the dining room looking out for Magnum. Awwwww...
