FINALLY

Boy has it been a long week!  (And a short week.  Depends on which problem project I'm talking about...)  At long last, I was able to add a couple of new fall aprons to my Etsy shop.  Woo hoo!  I had a little trouble capturing the pretty colors in the fabrics with the camera, and I took about 127,843 photos before I finally had a handful of good shots to Photoshop the heck out of work with.  But they are DONE.

(I've also got a couple of Pinafore Aprons cut out of this material already.  I'm hoping to get them sewn up and added to my shop this weekend.  Fingers crossed!  You'll be the first to know...)

In other news, I've got a non-sewing project in the works here giving me headaches keeping me on my toes this week.  I'm really hoping that it will solve all my photography problems!  (Or at least as much as that is possible with someone as photographically-challenged as I am. We will see.)  I'll devote a whole blog post to the project one day really soon, I promise.  In the meantime, here's a peek at a couple of Christmas purses I added today too:

Believe it or not, there are only 100 days until Christmas!

Fall apron preview

I  blink and it's already September 7th.  Yikes!  Somehow, I've misplaced the whole first week of September...  Anybody happen to end up with an extra?  I could really use it right about now...

I've got several aprons cut out and ready to sew that I really need finish and add to my shops this week...  My goal was to have them ready to list by September 1st.  So much for good intentions.  Here's a sneak preview of a couple of the prints that'll make beautiful aprons for the fall season:

Now if I don't get off this computer and back to the sewing machine, I'm afraid I'll lose another week!  Maybe I should try velcro-ing myself to the chair???  Might be worth a shot...
