Treasury Tuesday - Make Cupcakes, Not War! (Plus random babbling...)

Soooooo....  After something like 25 hours of eye-straining work, my old original (independent?) website  is finally redesigned.  Whew!!!  One of the exercises for my marketing class was to make my selling/marketing venues more unified.  And I guess that makes sense.  They should look enough alike that you can at least recognize that they all belong to the same person...  So I bought some pretty graphics on Etsy, and made some new banners for my Etsy shop and this blog.  Then I redesigned my original website with the same floral graphic pattern.  I will have to say, this color scheme is so much easier on the eyes!  Here's one last look at the old layout:

I've learned a little bit about how to really personalize my website since the days when I first set up this site.  I can do more than just choose a template from the list of things available in the program I use.  (To be honest, it's not a whole lot more than that, but I'm working on it, OK?)  And now, here's what the NEW Laurie's Gift's website looks like:

Still pink, but not quite SO PINK!!!  The wild, hot pink went better with the wild Wrapper Purse products I used to sell-- but it was time for something a little more subtle, I think...

And now I'm trying to minimize the time spent on the computer-- trying to let my poor eyes recover!  (Yeah, right.  This is Treasury Tuesday, and instead of just posting my favorite treasury of the week, I had to go into this whole spiel...)
